Call Me By Your Name, Directed by: Luca Guadagnino

A beautifully told story about falling in love, conveyed through emotions and words that are articulated so genuinely. I felt every butterfly in my stomach, and I felt every moment of yearning and heartbreak, as if I could feel my very own heart rip through my chest. It reminded me that I am capable of emotions that I sometimes forget I have. I’ve always been a strong believer that feeling emotions, good or bad, are a reminder that you are living, and feeling something is better than feeling nothing.

Highlight of 2017/Japan Trip

A trip filled with so many memories with the person I love the most, in the city I love the most. Mesmerized by all the bright buildings and sea of people. Wandering excitedly through the congested streets, brushing shoulders with strangers. Immersing yourself into a new environment and culture can definitely be intimidating, but refreshing. Exciting and fun too, when you have your life partner by your side. Hands down, the best couple of weeks out of the whole entire year. Can’t wait to see you again Japan, sooner than later.

2017.

The year has come and gone, yet again. Trying to put together all the pieces of the good.

Growing older continues to feel like looking into a crystal ball, thinking you’re so sure of it. In reality, things change, quicker than you think. Time fades, but you’re still here, wondering if life will measure up to what you hope it will. It’s a constant. You’re constantly wondering what will happen next. What will become of me… what will I become? On the other end, reflecting on your passing years, you will quickly learn that you are becoming. You are becoming a better version of yourself. You have learned more than ever before.  You learn to appreciate the things about yourself that you didn’t before.

Another year will come and pass. Reflect, appreciate, and never be regretful.

Hopefully life will be in a more stable, happier place next time around.
